Block Breaker
A classic single-player game where the player must smash bricks by bouncing a ball with a paddle. It has an old school arcade style theme. The game has different power up and power downs with various levels. The project was started with the teacher’s guidance and then left us with the choice to change the style and add more features which I was successful to do so.
The project was made in one month period during my third semester at College LaSalle using Unity. For this project I only used the engine and the assets my teacher gave me. Using Unity’s post-processing components and the shader by Mattias, translated by me to Unity’s HLSL, to add the arcade effect.
